Look up one or all of the four gospels in the New Testament:
Matthew/Mark/Luke/John. The story is in one of these books.

I beieve the people felt very excited, amazed and overwhelmed by the power of Jesus Christ, but moreso by the grace He was displaying to all of them. He actually feeds heaps more than 5,000 people - the story says it is 5,000 men, that is not including the women and the children as well!

So the people would have felt very loved and cared for by the power of the grace of Jesus Christ/God because He cared enough to feed them even though they were complete strangers listening to Him preach.

I sure hope you enjoy this view!

Thankyou

David

The book of Mathew 14. Jesus was preaching to a large crowd on a hill and he knew they were hungry so when he saw someone with a baskey of bread and a basket of fish HE told the apostles to feed the people. Everyone was amazed when all the people wer fed and there was still food lefy over,

The passage you want is in Matthew, Chapter 14, Verses 13-21,
Probably everyone was pretty surprised, particularly the disciples because only they knew what food they had to start off with and it is stated that 5000 was only the number of men in the crowd, not counting women and children.

In the new testement in one of the four gospels, Mark has him feeding 4000, but there may be other references in either John, Luke, or Matthew.
