Make yourself heard and let your family know that it isn't all right with you. Be ready to accept some form of compromise, though. Maybe you can draw names in your family and buy for one person instead of all of them?

It would reduce the number of PRESENTS, but not eliminate them.

Christmas is a special time I agree that is a bit sever especially when you are 12. Maybe you could suggest cutting back a little on Christmas or make more of the gifts "practical" e.g. clothes (which they will have to buy anyway) vs games.

well, saving money can take many forms. if you work with your mom on what money is spent and how you can trim cost you can then set aside that money. If you plan to eat out one night and stay home.....take that money you would spend on the food and put it in bank you can't open. Try bringing your lunch to school and make sure your parents do as well.sell some old things on ebay perhaps. but be sure all things have your moms approval of course. good luck,
