My cousin is soft spoken guy 29 years old about 5"8 an 200 pounds from new york city. When I heard he was joining the navy I thought it was great. But I hadn't seen him in about 6 years. He ended up becoming a navy seal. He got threw the toughest military training known to man, went threw 4 years of intensive training and went to Afghanistan.

He was awarded the silver star and the purple heart. With over 162 confirmed enemy kills, 19 captures of high ranking Taliban, 3 high ranking members of Al-Qaida and liberated over160 Afghans from Taliban rule. He did the things you will only see in a movie.

In one mission his leg was blown apart. An was amputated. After spending time in the hospital and getting a new leg, he chose to go back into the seal teams, where he returned to Afghanistan. He came home for good, a few months ago with a thick beard scared hands and bad tan from the Afghan sun.

All I ever considered for a hero were rock stars, movie stats, athletes an such and here comes this guy who is an average person who over came so much, went threw life changing events for America. And no one will ever even know his name.

call me stupid or whatever but i look up to famous people,
i mean they are successful..

I look up to Daniel Tosh, he's a great comedian. and he's very witty...which i strive to be.

and i also i look up to Craig Mabbit, vocalist of Blessthefall...i love his attitude about life, he's always having fun and being positive.

My father. He was intelligent, articulate, successful, and the perfect father all around. I learned so much from him, and I wish he was still alive.
