i wouldnt mind this opinion but yankee fans say this so i have to speak out. yankee fans are worse then mets fans, booing arod fora whole season. and people say the mets buy out good hometown heroes, but thats how the game works, and they shouldnt talk cause the yankees bought out arod damon and clemons. and they hated damon and clemons on the red sox but they loved them a week later on the yankees and there excuse is damon got a haircut. yes the stadium is ugly...but their building a new one. he players are young and i dont care but i think there showboating is fun too watch. all it is are fun handshakes its not lke there pulling off chad johnsons or t.o.s

Every team in baseball has arrogant and ugly fans. It just seems that the Yankees have a lot more then most. A true baseball fan does not boo their players at any time. Most don't hate the yankee players or their fans, they hate the organization. We get tired of hearing about them all the time on sports channels. I really don't care who wins the World Series this year , as long as the Yankees lose!! People think the Mets fans are arrogant and ugly (not meaning looks) for the same reason they think Yankee fans are . ATTITUDE!!!

Only those that are arrogant and ugly within themselves would think that! I'm a Yankee fan and always have been but I've learned to appreciate the National League and the kind of ball they play. I'm sorry for Willie Randolph and his fine players this year because they came so close only to watch it all fall apart in the end.
I hate it when people talk about the fans, generally speaking, unless they're being complimentary to those who truly support and love their teams. It works both ways, but this need to attack people doesn't play well in my mind.
I watched that stadium being built and in my mind, the stadium is not exactly a pretty place to be. It doesn't have the warmth that other stadiums do for some reason. Its location is kind of weird too but who cares. It's easy for the fans to get to and they love their team.
All you fans who put down and call names need to get another life. It's play-off time...sit down, watch and shut up! May the best team win!
