The cost of producing one unit of a product is given by
c=a+bx+ky
where x is the amount of labor used (in man hours) and y is the amount of raw material used (by weight) and a and b and k are constants. What does c/x =b mean? What is the practical interpretation of b?

c/x=b means that y=0 or there is no raw material yet you have to pay people or cost per man hour)
