if you expect only answers that agree with you, some of the best answers I get. are the ones that disagree with my position.

Agreed (although I have on rare occasion succumbed to the temptation of doing so). It seems when I do ask real questions, there are only one or two (if that many) answers, though. I think the answer is that the question is stated to make a point and it is fun to watch the extremes that result.

The best answer to a question is unknown even to the creator, the God! Such is the variation in answers, the world brings to your mind to digest, since the people of all walk of life meet in a forum like this to share their opinions, views, perceptions, experience and knowledge which really elevates you, even to accept and appreciate the opposite views!
Many a times its an exciting experience in receiving such an absorbing answer and I could feel an unknown happiness envelopes me, whole day long! We would be gifted, if we all stand to raise the merits of this forum everyday, better than yesterday! The answers must increase the hope in life and the confidence for the good to prevail, for the peace and harmony of the world!

What a bore life would be if we all agreed. Hey ask a question about President Bush...I know I will disagree with it and then get the 10 points Ha Ha (just kidding) sort of.

Posting any question where absolutely everyone would agree with one position is almost impossible to do. I personally respect other people's rights to their own opinion, even though sometimes I don't agree.
That's part of what makes us all individuals. What a concept!!!!!!

I agree with you on that. I respect other answers and still have my own opinions, but have learned as my experience grows with YA to 'agree to disagree' with most.

Because some people are full of themselves and want to see how many will agree with them. Then they put the ones that don't agree down telling them that they're opinion was point less.

That is what I seek a good answer.
Normally those who disagree with me have the typical rants and not in mind worthy of best answers.

i like to get disagreements because then I can argue my point. I wouldn't like getting ALL answers that agree with me either
OR what if you got answers like "you bet ye"?

Because it's always interesting to hear other opinions. Yes some of them are totally spaced out weirdos but when you've got time to kill what better way to waste it.
