I see Liberals on here and they seem to defend and embrace all sorts of vile and deviant behavior. I just want to know - does the FAR LEFT think ANYTHING is immoral?

**Moderate Democrats - this does not include you.

libs consider anyone expressing an opinion on morality to be immoral. according to libs, there are no absolute standards, so no one's opinion has any merit (unless that person is a liberal)...

Yes, we don't have a lot of tolerance for phony, sanctimonious hypocrites who stand up in front of the cameras and call homosexuality a vile sin committed by degenerates, then spends the extra time on flight layovers trolling for anonymous buttsex in pubic restrooms.

We have a hard time listening to Republicans harp on and on about "Traditonal Family Values", while record numbers of these same "Family Men" are committing acts of pedophilia at an alarming rate;

We have a hard time listening to the military strategy of a "War President" who never finished his own military obligation;

But to answer your question, me personally, I think it's immoral to:
1. Consume the flesh of a human body, unless it's while on a rugby team;
2. Have sex with anyone who is not in a condition or a position to agree to said sex responsibly: This includes children, animals, the deceased, the mentally challenged, or the comatose. Or the physically repugnant, but that's just me.
3. Steal employees' pensions and 401Ks, declare bankruptcy, then skip away with $115 Million (ENron)-
4. Outsource millions of jobs to countries where the labor is exploitable, then award myself millions in bonuses I did nothing to earn-
5. Send kids off to die in a war we never should have gotten into in the first place, which everyone in the WORLD advised us against, going in with no clear (or lucid) exit strategy-
6. Tell the American people I want "Osama bin Laden, dead or alive", and then barely a year later, say, "I don't really think about him that much"- I find that MOST immoral.

But whatever two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own rooms or whatever, I make no judgements. If both are willing, who are YOU to declare it "immoral"?

What I believe is immoral and what the government has the authority to legislate on are 2 totally different things.

It is not an "anything goes" mentality. It is allowing others to "pursue happiness", as long as what they are doing does not cause injury to another. It is not up to me (or the government) to pass judgment. A Higher Power has that authority.

I think stealing national elections and starting bogus wars is immoral. I also think destroying the system of checks and balances is wrong. Outing a CIA agent in political retaliation was wrong and subverting the Constitution and leading the US towards fascism is wrong. Being part of the GOP is wrong.

Well since alot of cons probably label me, somebody whose always debunking their lies, "far left", I'll answer.

YES. I think spending money we don't have and expecting our children and their children to pay for it to be immoral. I think it is wrong to label poor people simply as lazy. Millions of these people happen to be children who were born into poverty through no fault of their own. I think animal cruelty is wrong, torture is wrong (just because the bad guys do it doesn't mean we should), polluting the planet and driving other species to extinction is wrong. Gov't killing dissenters is wrong. I'm talking about that Burma protest here. I can go on...

These types of actions affect others.

However, if a certain action does NOT interfere with the rights of other's, the government should have no right to ban it. Too many times one group has put down another simply because they did not agree with that group or their social decision.

Examples: abolition of slavery, equal rights for women, interracial marraige, invitro fertilization, etc.

I have a conscience and believe in God. Its not hard to figure out what's wrong and what's right. I just don't believe that anyone can kill anyone else, allow someone else to die by inaction, or be killed for their race, orientation or beliefs.

I will not go through the list of what is immoral, but murder is good start. Also child molesters should be executed.

While I may think certain behaviors are immoral, I also recognize that this country was founded on individual freedom and liberty, and that no one has any right to enforce their own personal morals onto anyone else unless said actions would cause direct and unavoidable harm to another person.

Neither the Left or the Right can figure this out anymore.

Well, I think that child abusers and molesters, animal abusers and killers, and convicted murderers should be SEVERELY punished.

Murder, rape, unjustified war are wrong, duh.

Basically, take Iraq, and look at what is NOT going on over there. Then you have the moral values of many Liberals.
