Everyone knows you cannot be racist for hating white people. Sexist for hating men. or Bigoted for hating straight Christians.
The same goes for getting Govt. handouts... A straight white Christian male goes to work.

Yes, Christians are the founders, but they founded a free country with freedom of religion where anyone can practice their own faith. When you have communities trying to block Mosques from going up in their town, that tells me that maybe Christians are not serious about freedom of religion. Why would you not allow a particular faith build a place for worship? I don't understand it. Yes, I do agree that hating Christians can be considered bigoted, but you can't say that this dislike of Christians comes from nowhere.
So what about hating Liberals? Conservatives? Should that be considered bigoted as well?
Oh, and the way gays are treated. they aren't exactly treated like people either...
It feels to me that Christians are all about making everyone Christian. Anything else is not accepted. That isn't too different from radical Islam.
I see the hypocrisy of Bush claiming he is a devout Christian (which I do believe) and bombing the hell out of Iraq.

are not you the single with the gay pastor? and you *nevertheless* have faith that homosexuality is a sin? human beings make the Bible say despite the fact that they % it to. That article is an fantastic occasion. I propose you take a seat and study it for your self. besides, like I stated the final time I responded this suitable question, i comprehend not all Christians hate gays. I do evaluate calling homosexuality a "sin" hatred because of the fact it tells a man or woman who an elementary ingredient of their character is morally corrupt and wicked and demands correction. If it fairly is not hate, i don't understand what's. fortuitously, not all Christians have faith such as you. some ignore approximately or twist their Bible to in super condition twenty first century ethical standards, which for my section is extra powerful than being caught interior the fifteenth century- the lesser of two evils, in case you will.

okay, ur completely wrong, ppl who have a brain and know how to use it, can never hate christians. i do not! i'd say that religion is something personal and other people have ABSOLUTELY no right to hate it. the beliefs of christians are their beliefs, the beliefs of hindus are their beliefs and me or anyone has absolutely no right to march up and say i don't like this religion. I respect every religion equally. i don't even believe my religion to be 100% true or supirior. i think that liking or not liking someone by judging them on their colour, race, age or gender is stupid. Even black people can be equally beautiful as others- not only in but out also. i'd say that every christian or black person i've ever met is beautiful, nice and kind. Same goes for other colours, ages, races or religions. People should stop fighting and start living peacefully with every single kind of people! Peace Out!

When have leftists practiced hate crimes against Christians in this country? The facts are quite the reverse. Since 1919 successive supposedly Christian organizations have led the fight to outlaw any form of thinking that runs counter to their own, and vilified any who questioned their efforts as red. It is not the leftists who joyfully condemn their opponents to eternal hellfire.
As a Jew, I do feel nervous around extreme Protestants, since they have so little respect for my faith that they insist on evangelizing. Even those whose reason is not so impaired that they buy into the corporate agenda as part of Christ's plan will earnestly explain why I am damned.
Since my ancestors arrived in Maryland before Baltimore was built, I wonder if your claim to ninety percent is justified. Christopher Columbus was a Jew as well, you know. Your forebears drove us to these shores before they came themselves.
Still, we do not hate Christians. We just wish you would extend the same respect for the beliefs of others as you demand for your own. We are people, too.

Seriously, bud...I don't know ANYBODY who "hates Christians."
What people DISLIKE is when Jesus freaks get all up in their face and violate their personal space under the guise of "witnessing."
Thank God the courts have upheld the rights of individuals not to be harassed.

No one on the extremist left will give that merit. I think that anyone not so blinded by politics would see that as sense.

Not christians, just the far right. The far fundie right does not represent all christians.
By the way Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine were some of our founding fathers and they definitely were not christian. This isn't a christian nation. It is a secular nation. You do not have to be christian to be a citizen or hold office. In fact, the constitution forbids religious tests for office and state establishment of religion.
They didn't have to put that in the constitution, but they did. There must have been a reason don't you think?

I don't hate Jesus, it's just some of his more over-zealous fans I can't stand. You know...the type that disregard the supposed teachings of Jesus (peace, love, forgiveness, tolerance) and practice nasty, accusatory hate-mongering. Oh, and stereotyping of "the left."
If Jesus came back today, some conservatives would accuse him of being a long-haired, sandal-wearing, leftist, pot-addled hippie and tell him to get a job.

Who hates the religious? No one I know (who is of sound mind).
As a LIBERAL, I try to show tolerance for ALL religions. I may not agree with it, but that doesn't mean I want to stop YOU from practicing it, (as long as it hurts no one else).
This is where Liberal and Conservative doctrine diverge.
Libs see something and try to understand it. Cons see something, decide they don't like it, then further decide, because THEY don't like it, NO ONE should do it. Never has a conservative tried to get a law passed in Congress by saying, "I am addicted to gambling. I love to gamble and I've lost hundreds of thousands of dollars I don't have gambling.I have ruined MY life and my family's lives because of it. I can't control myself and so to help me, I would like Congress to make gambling illegal, to make to impossible for myself and others LIKE myself to indulge our weakness."
Of course not. What they say is, "I HATE gambling! And because I HATE it so much, I dont Want ANYONE to enjoy it EVER!"

Who hates Christians?
I'm worried about it all, I don't want Christianity to be turned into some kind of vote farm for the Republican Party, I don't think you want that either.
