break it down into sections--

injustice anywhere
threat to justice everywhere

if an injustice surfaces anywhere it is a threat to justice everywhere.

Justice must be fair and impartial. Anytime an injustice happens, it violates one or both of these principles.

If we permit this injustice, we are not adhering to the priciples, and the integrity of the justice system is compromised.

If any of us can be singled out and turned into trash, then all of us are at risk. Even the biggest, meanest SOB can be turned into trash. In the extreme case, that biggest meanest sob can be trashed by a wimpy little geek with a death ray. There's always someone bigger and meaner and deadlier.

The only chance we have is if the law protects every one of us from the mob.

But you do raise an interesting topic!
