My wallet fell out a week ago at the movies, looked everywhere and its gone..

It had DL, SS Card, Debit, and insurance info and Dr. appointmennt notice.

I canceled alll debit and credit cards, ordered a new drivers license, and put a fraud warning on all my credit. As far as the social security card (it was the original), not sure what to do. They do not have a fraud hotline unless you are already a victim. Nothing has happened with identity fraud since a week.

Is there any other steps you would recommend to protect my identity? Thanks.

It sounds like you have done all you can for now. Your can get a new Social Security card, but most likely NOT a new number from the nearest SS office. In the future NEVER carry the card unless you will actually need it while you are out. You should also review your credit report regularly.

you can contact your local Social Security office to order a new card, and i do believe you will be able to apply for a new ssn to replace the one you lost BUT i am uncertain if they can do that unless its an extreme fraud type atmosphere going on with your credit
but i would go at the very least to the SS Office to get a new card and make sure in the future you don't carry it around and definately check on your credit report when you can just to be sure
i know wamu has a id theft protection service for like $10 a month or something that gives you your credit report from all 3 credit bureau's every quarter, you can check your bank or see if there is something similiar to that you can sign up for
