I think when it comes to the power ballad there are 2 artists that take the title every time.
Coming in for the men its Meatloaf - just think how many weeks "I would do anything for love" was at number 1, not to mention "Dead Ringer for Love" or "Two out of three aint bad"
For the ladies, it has to be she with the big hair - Bonnie Tyler. "Total Ecplispe of the Heart" and "Holding out for a hero" just epitomise the power ballad

Have to say that my all time favourite power ballard has got to be Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of The Heart. When I listen to it it always reminds me of the video and at the end when she is saying good bye to the boys and one with the bright eyes at the end.
