i am 44 m . i work for a moving company. i am very stroni and i work very hard. i drive the truck tralior. the young men 20 or less not all but some treat me like i am stupid and weak. the say i dont do as much work as them . however i do as much or more then they do . they talk about me behind my back . i hear them, i am a very advanced self defence instucketor. so i dont really fear any of them . today i called one off and told him if i heard him talking about me behind my back i woulld punch his head in . later i phoned boss and quit . boss came said dont quit. what should i do . oh right now i am drunk

Dont let these kids run you off of your job. The boss asked you to stay, so he must have great confidence in you. I imagine since the boss knows about this issue he will have a discussion with these (back talking) boys.

I am assuming you are sober by now! Don't let people get you down. At 44 you should know what life is about and should be able to deal with the small things! If you need your job, speak to your boss about the uneasiness at work, if you don't, get another job!
