yes he is good for football. sure he does crazy things, but they are not hurting anyone. but when TO does something, it generally hurts the team, so thats the difference between chad and owens.

Well, Marvin Lewis called the team "selfish" after last night's beat down. I don't know if he had Chad in mind, but maybe if Chad didn't spend so much time working on his latest celebrations, or Microsoft Word document lists of who can cover him, and got his head in the game, maybe the margin of loss would have been a little less.
Don't get me wrong, some TD celebrations aren't that bad (like the one Terrell Owens got fined for a couple of weeks ago; it didn't really warrant that), but when you tell the media to look out for it, that just screams that he's in desperate need of attention.
That's my 2 for 2.

YES hes great for football....hes the best WR out there....4 str8 years leading the AFC in yards and lead the NFL in yards last year...and best hands in the probowl...hes a beast
He makes the game soo much more fun...Chad said that if he did score monday night he wouldn't do anything in the endzone...but he should have scored...if Carson could actually learn how to throw the ball...then they might be lookin a little bit better...

Yes he is. I grew up in Cincinnati from the 60's through the 90's and as a Bengals fan, it is quite refreshing to see players get excited about playing for the Bengals. Chad Johnson is exactly what that franchise needed and the NFL.
What harm is Ocho doing? None.
If you ask him what is his goal when playing, he will tell you "win".

I think he is pathetic and very bad for the sportsmanship of football. If Chad Johnson can get on the field and hike to himself, pass to himself, catch it and run in for a touchdown then he can pull off those stupid celebrations...otherwise as he has shown not only last night but in previous games...he is playing just for himself and not for the team. It's about the team he is on winning and playing together, not how flashy of a celebration he can put on. His head has gotten way to big...maybe those stupid gold teeth of his are having a bad reaction with his brain.

Yes, even though I do not like him he keeps the casual football fan keep watching. Even though he talks a lot he has never done anything bad off the field.

his antics are harmless and if folks like you enjoy watching the games to see what crazy stuff he and others are going to pull, i got no problems with it. so long as players don't show up the other team/taunt etc as moss did vs the pack a few years ago, it's all good by me. gotta respect the game though!
