I'm sorry to say that I've not seen anybody that I feel is qualified in any party. I keep hoping that somebody else will throw their name in the race. Hopefully, somebody more qualified that who is running right now.

To be honest, the most qualified people rarely run for office because they are too busy with their real lives. Of those running, Fred Thompson is probably the best Republican option out there. The Democrats are not qualified at all because they have the wrong approach to every problem, and it really doesn't matter what independent because they simply will not win, so it is a moot point.

Republican: John McCain = 20+ yrs of military service, 20+ yrs as a US Senator
Democrat: Is there a dem running that has military service?
Indep: It's too early. That slate will probably change as more candidates drop out off the Dem & GOP tickets.

The Democrats are definetly better prepared. Have you been watching the debates on both sides? Hillary Clinton & Dennis Kucinich make the most sense to me. Richardson would probably make a good VP.

I am a Democrat, and I believe that John McCain is the most qualified Republican. He is a true American hero and he knows what is like to be a soldier and to be tortured. He would better represent what a true Commander-in Chief should be. For Democrats I would say Hillary Clinton, I just feel she is a step above the fray.

There are numerous qualified people on the GOP. I'll name the top 2
1) Fred Thompson
2) Sam Brownback
On the Dem. side, it is a wasteland. I don't think I can name one electable person.
Independant? No one votes independent anyway. It's a waste of a vote.

Republican Fred Thompson would make a good president
I can't stand any of the Democrats they are all just a bunch of socialist. Independants just screw things up because we have a two party system.
