Yes but I really didn't get anywhere until I brought out the box of doughnuts. That got his attention.

Yes. The most recent time was when I thought my neighbour was injured or dead so I broke into his flat to investigate. I woke him up and he called the police, although I was not arrested. It helped that he was a known criminal and was probably on drugs (I had to shake him very hard to wake him). Also when pulled over when riding my motorbike, when I lived in share accommodation and the house was invaded by a couple of thugs chasing a personal debt owed by one of the housemates, when they came round asking after an illegal immigrant who lived there, when I saw a bloke dumping unposted letters all over the road and I gathered them up and took them into the police station, when I saw a break-in in a shop window and tailed the perp half a mile across town, when I broke up a street-fight and rode in the police van chasing the perp until the driver chased him up the wrong road... the list goes on...

Yes, when they pull me over for a traffic violation. Like the time I was going 45 m.p.h. on a 25 m.p.h. street because I was late for work. I was only a block away from work when I got pulled over. And another time when I honked at a sherrif's patrol car because they had their high beems on. I didn't realize it was a sheriff's patrol car until they drove by me. They then proceeded to pull into a driveway, and then they started to follow me. I was only a block away from my house so I pulled into my driveway when I got to my house. So, to make a long story short, they didn't give me a ticket, or, a beating lol, like the cops where I live like to do.

Yes. I was stopped on the street because the cop thought I looked like a bad guy and wanted to see what was in my book bag. (It was books, of course).
