Because they don't want us there....? But we can't leave until we've managed to protect our Iraqi friends who've been interpreting and helping in other ares. If we leave them there, they're history.

There are 2 sides to every story. One that says we should all pull out of Iraq and let them get on with it themselves possibly risking a civil was there One the other hand Britain and America decided to rid Iraq of a nasty dictator and hopefully stop the killings of innocent civilians by his own regime. My personal view is that we should stay and finish the job which we both started, rightly or wrongly

we lost enough people. Iraq will be fine now. We held their hand long enough. Time to help us Americans now.
Theres other countries we have to worry about right now, including our own. Too much time and money and deaths of our people have been spent on the war that never should have lasted this long in the first place!

Because the ones running the show don't know squat that's why. The war isn't going to end no matter what is done this includes forcing soldiers to fight when they realize a coffin and site is waiting for what's left of them! Then there's the innocent civilians that our gunmen either shoot, gang rape or shoot at other soldiers (then lie about it trying to cover their tracks) What about that bin laden prick? He's probably on a beach watching our president destroy the US for him, I wouldn't be surprised to find out he's living in the White House
sharing a bed with Bush! This country doesn't need a gay wuss for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We started this conflict under false pretenses and with lies and exaggerations presented to the American people by an administration with a hawkish, petroleum obsessed, familial vengeance, ties to private companies that profit from war, misinformed and misinforming mission to force Sadam out of power without any foresight regarding the repercussions or plans for the inevitable Middle East fallout. Continuing our presence serves only to instigate further hatred and retribution by peoply who see us as Imperialist and as Occupiers, even the few who are grateful for removing Sadam have proven that they are ineffectual in establishing a solid government that can unite the various factions, sects and their varied special interests. Further sacrifice of our beloved incredibly brave and finest Americans is quickly becoming abhorrent to all as this debacle drags on with no end in sight. Rumsfield created a disaster and the current Generals cannot undo the massive errors of disbanding the army, allowing the looting, and completely dismissing any diplomatic arm to this mission. They say losing is not an option, but mothers and fathers are losing their precious loved ones every day and it is completely out of control. Only guilt, ignorance, arrogance and a massive ego (and I suspect a very small member) keep W on this path. In addition he is depleting our military resources, eroding our tax base, sinking us further into debt, losing any world respect we might have banked, lessening our ability to fight true terrorism, creating even more safe havens for terrorists and disaffected Muslim extremists, keeping us off focus from our growing domestic issues, taking resources from the capture of Bin Laden and insuring that he will go down in the history books as the worst leader of the free world. That's why.

We shouldn't be in Iraq in the first place. The war was in vain and bush is a moron. Not to mention you can thank him for putting us so far in debt we'll never get out and making our money worthless.

Why should we stay? Their were no WMD. The people in Iraq don't want us there. We can't afford to pay for this war. I say we let the people in Iraq fight for their own freedom. If they really want it they will. They should also pay for it.

The US Soldiers are acting more as a UN peace keeping force than anything. We fell into this cow patty... so we should actually finish what we started to save face, and possibly save lives. But it's best to keep conflicts off of American soil.

because that wasn't the plan presented to the American people. And the reasons we had for going in were falsified...except we did sell Saddam some chemical weapons, but never found them. the terrorists who are killing americans now are pissed of Iraqis who probably have no affiliation with terrorist groups, they just want us out.
