Slope- Intercep form of the equation

Y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

For your problem m = 5 and b = -2.

Answer
y = 5x + (-2) which becomes y = 5x - 2

to graph... you need two points to draw a line.

You already have one point (0,-2)

For the second point, just use any value for x.
For example if x = 1, then y = 5(1) - 2 = 3
so your second point is (1,3)

Plot the two points on your graph and draw a line through the two points with a straight edge.
