Wow you could really have fun with that. The guy in the cape with the mustache who is about to throw the family out into the cold, but wants the pretty daughter for his own. The bald headed mad scientist trying to take over the world. The body part eating freak. The hockey masked axe murderer. The clean cut sorority brother who is secretly killing sorority sisters. The intergalactic Darth Vader type. The shy choir boy who is secretly a mass murderer. The big sport star who gets away with murdering his wife and her boyfriend. The returning veteran who has Post Traumatic Stress and snaps. The lonely drifters who kill randomly to survive. The doctor or nurse who is the "angel of death" killing patients who are suffering and dying anyway. The poor girl who gets involved with the rich guy, gets his insurance policy then kills him. The drugged out teenager who goes nuts and kills his whole family. The freak hiding in the back seat of the girl's car at the mall. The guy with the hook hand who hangs out a lover's lanes. The killer who says the dog told him to do it.

I could go on and on. There are just so many. Hope that helps. Pax - C

Check out the book How to Be a Villain: Evil Laughs, Secret Lairs, Master Plans, and More!!! by Neil Zawacki and James Dignan. It's very thorough, even outlining some types of heroes.

Watch the Austin Powers movies. Dr. Evil and his henchman embodied these villain cliches.

Here's a beginning:

black clothing and hair, pale skin, mustache that curls up at the ends, cape, evil laugh (he has to have an evil laugh!), sneer, top hat, ties helpless women to railroad tracks.
