I think it depends on where you live. In most places there are curfews and kids that age are really not supposed to be out that late. A lot of restaurants here in Montana say you have to be 18 to be in a place where it's one am and there is alcohol. How can there be no adults? Wouldn't an adult classify as a bar tender, some staff, ect? Or do you mean unsupervised (IE no parents around of the kids)??

When you are 16, you already know what you would like to do after 11 PM. So in some place it is not a problem. The more things are forbidden theh more teens want to do them, to have a try. As long as we allow them to eat out and maybe drink something they will be able to see how responsible they are. And that is what we are all looking for when we try something new. Are we all responsible the same? Certainly not, but we'll just know it if we live and let them live.

Depends on your town and your curfew. They serve alcohol in a lot of restaurants. If the kids are out at 1:00 - without an adult - where ARE the adults in their lives??? The law can only do so much parenting - you know?

That's a good joke !!!! All the wars in the middle east are because America is attacking you and killing all your innocents. I'd like just one reason from you why we should refrain from turning your flea ridden country into a parking lot ? Your stinking government has been attacking us for decades. Try doing your homework little boy/bint. Also, the USA didn't destroy Iraq fool. Saddam and the peace loving terrorists form your beloved Iran and the equally friendly Syria are the ones that have and are destroying Iraq and causing all the trouble in Lebanon, Palestine, the Sudan, and everywhere else you spread like flies.

Generally not, as most towns have curfews for young people. Here kids have to be accompanied by an adult after 11 on weeknights, and 12 on weekend nights.

Yes, often it is legal for minors to eat in restaraunts that serve alcohol. Heck even the golden griddle serves beer.
Of course local laws vary.

In Illinois you have to be 18 to be out that late. Places that serve alcohol that late check ID's and you won't be allowed in.
