Yes, you are a phony soldier.

But I bet you're a real airman.

Chi, you know this whole mess is a fabricated story. I've showed you links in the past about the "lie based war". I'm also an Air Force Vet ('83 thru '88) and know, as do you, that members of the military have varied political views. That's not what ANYONE is talking about. What the topic was is why did the anti-war people hold up this worm (that was discharged 44 days into boot camp, lied about his rank, lied about being a Ranger, lied about seeing combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, lied about being awarded the Purple Heart, and lied about witnessing attrocities in both theaters of operation) as a "brave" soldier blowing the whistle on war crimes? If this man is not a "phony soldier" what is he? And he's not the only one.
I don't agree with everything Limbaugh says, not by a long ways, but I was listening to the show and heard what was said. You may think it's great that Media Matters is going after Limbaugh, that's your right, but be careful what you wish for, if they get rid of conservative talk radio, they'll come after the next group that happens to disagree with them.

I dont think any soldier agrees with war, or they shouldnt anyway, they just do their duty to fight the enemies of our country and protect their homeland from attack. I have known a lot of great guys who were soldiers and some that still are. I have also known some idiots who I dont think deserve the honor of being in the military. I dont even know what this is about but apparently Rush Limbaugh said something idiotic like he always does. Dont worry about it.

You know, you have the right to disagree with the lie based war without proving that you are an ex-Air Force Vet. But, I feel compelled to ask you; how do we know that what you are saying about being an ex-veteran of anything is true? People get on here & can claim anything, how are we to know?
If you are who you say you are; I thank you for your service, I'm glad that you are home safe & I honor you for your decoration, you must have done something to deserve it, they don't just hand them out to anyone!

Only if you trust limbaugh and the drivel that comes from everyone like him.
But then again, if you do, everyone of us are anti-American, unless we are fascist, propoganda worshipping, Juggernauts, that say we support lower taxes but want more laws that someone has to pay to enforce.

Isn't it funny Chi, how most of these people here, give you all the nice lipservice under a question mentioning how you served, but the very next question, if you don't mention it, they slam you as an anti-American, terrorist sympathizer and coward for not agreeing with the actions of Bush?

There is something wrong with people when you have to live up to certain expectations to get proper and due respect as a fellow American.

The only phony soldier is General Petraeus, he quit being a soldier the moment hwe became a mouthpiece stooge for Bush in justifying the needless slaughter of USA soldiers in Iraq.

Jesse MacBeth is the one that all the fuss is about:

Less known is Scott Thomas Beauchamp, who is a soldier (sorta), works for the New Republic...as does his wife, and he fabricated war stories.

If you want to be a phoney soldier, just do what these two did.
