I can't find a template for a letter. I need something about 'satisfaction of debt'. Can someone point me in the right direction to get a template for this type of letter?

Try the local law library for form books pertinent to your state. It can be daunting, but I have found law librarians to be particularly helpful and kind to the public. Keep in mind, however, they cannot give you legal advice. Another excellent source of legal information is Nolo Press here in Berkeley. You can access a lot of their material and order their publications at www.nolo.com
