Read when you were a kid? Do you now? Why not? (if you don't)

I love books, its like a movie you can pause at any time and carry around in your pocket. (don't say you can do that with an iPod, it isn't the same and you know it!)

Star if you like....

Give me complete answers.

I did and I do now. I think the best thing about books are that they allow you to use your imagination and you are not sitting there watching a movie and being shown what to imagine.

Oh Beejezus, yes. I LOVE to read and I still do. I find myself watching Harry Potter movies and longing for the fifth movie and thinking 'Oh, you remember that?' and then I'll realize that was from the seventh book actually. It makes me wonder a lot about how much my movies used to be blurry or choppy when I was younger, and then how smooth they are now and how I think they're movies. It's weird in my mind.

Right now, I'm still into fiction and fantasy fictional with a little splash of romance now and then. If you ask me my hobbies, reading is usually right off the bat, or at least in the top ten.

alsdjfa;j I'll stop blabbing now. =/ Is it sad that I just did this really for the points?

I read constantly as a child - I liked the baby sitters club and sweet valley twins

As an adult, I still read. I dont work in the summers, and I ususally read about 4 books a week. Now with working, I read about 1 book every 1 -2 weeks. I try to alternate between fiction and nonfiction. I even started reading the bible.

yes, actually it may sound really weird, but reading came REALLY easy to me. i was reading before most kids were. i LOVEDDDD TO READ!

I read a little bit now, i wish i read more, but no books really interest me anymore. They all seem the same to me now, but when i do find a book that can hold my interest i'm hooked.

I love how every person can in vision the same characters and settings differently, i sometimes think of how other people may be taking in the descriptions and what they come up with ^.^

Yes I did, when I was 4 years old I was already reading big books, Kiddie Encyclopedias, fairytale stories, all type of books. Now I'm reading bigger books like Don Quixote, The Divine Comedy, Da Vinci code, etc. I just adore reading, is like entering into an adventure, becoming all the characters that you read.

Not unless i had to, i was just uninterested on reading boring books while i was more distracted with playing games and having fun, i just didn't find any of the books i read to be interested. But now i actually enjoy it, even though i don't read book after book, but i do like it now that i can find books that i'm actually interested in.

I read a lot now, and loved to read when I was younger.
A book is like a world you can slip into your pocket.

~I l-o-v-e Harry Potter books and anything to do with wizardry/witches in books.

I read since I was really young, or at least my parents said I did.

When I was younger, I read all the time. I loved going to the library in school and taking home books and reading them. Now i hate them. I hate reading. It's really boring to me. I dont know why I completly changed like that since grade school, but I did somehow.

I didn't read when I was a kid. The first book I remember reading that I liked was "Night" by Eli Wiesel. I think because I really like things about real life!
I do read now and I enjoy it! I read White Oleander and loved it. I like all kinds of books, fiction and nonfiction, self help and how to do its.....
