which users are notorious for blocking people from answering their questions when they dont agree with what their opinions are??? i didnt know you could even do that!!!!!
surely that is hindering freedom of speech!!!!
in my opinion if you dont like what you are going to hear dont answer the question!!!!!!!!!!!

I block lots of people - not those who disagree with me that is healthy. I have blocked people for;
racism
verbally abusing me, my partner or my children
verbally abusing my chosen proffession
people who do not answer my questions but simply get two points for hurling abuse.
People who have sent me vile abusive emails.
People who YA have advised me to block in the course of their investigation into abuse.
and lastly - trolls.
I have lots of people in my contacts who do not agree with me, we have healthy, civil debate and do not resort to petty insults and spiteful unnecessary name calling and even bullying.

its all down to yahoo letting people police answers themselves,
a little power in the wrong hands is a dangerous tool.
i once recieved an abusive email just for having the balls to answer a 'Q' in 'newborns'.
now as a father of 7 and a midwife to my latest i think i have at least SOME of the qualities needed to give a good answer.
but beware the dyke police,,,lol

I dont think thats right, but at the same time, you do get some nutters on here. I had a guy who would leave me alone and every question i posted he just gave me abuse. All because i called him a student

Its annoying when people block you then answer your questions, eh Grumples!
Personally can't see the point in blocking, if anyone (myself included) asks a bit of a crap or provocative question then you have to accept a bit of stick really!

I don't block people because they disagree with me but I do block people who are downright offensive for no reason or because they, themselves, disagree with something that I have posted. I would not give this sort of person houseroom in 'real' life so I won't give them carte blanche to insult me on the internet. These are the people who have no concept of free speech, not the people who block them.

The people that send you loads of email's about their answer being correct and why yours is not. Then have the gaul to block your right to reply to those emails, just plain ignorance IMO.

Couldn't have said it better! When they block you or me just proves that no matter what is said the only person they'll listen to is themselves so truly why bother posting one if you can't handle the answers.

I don't know but I think they should be banned for being such bigots...... When will these idiots realise that an opinion is just that? and stop retorting to abuse because they can't see reason........... If we do find out maybe we should all treat them with contempt, maybe they will get the hint.......
