Have you noticed something about “powerful” woman…they seem to be about as effective in securing a real man as an Eunuch is in securing a woman. When your that far off the bell curve, it’s a tough bet to find a “normal” person.
I once asked a girl why did she want to become President…she stated that she wanted to be President to show a woman could do the same job as a man(and do you think that attitude tends to go with this new generation of woman…the need to prove something??!!)
If you’re a powerful woman who has no man…remember: men prefer woman who possess traits of their MOTHER, not their father.
To those who LOVE money, they will NEVER have enough…what a GOAL to aspire to, in a morally and ethically bankrupt society.

They probably don't want a man and don't need one, but if indeed they are looking and can not get a mans attention, it is probably because most men are threatened by women smarter than them, more powerful than them, and those that make more money than them. It's the old 'caveman mentality'. Also, I hope your last statement about love of money was not directed to women only. If so, then you really are delusional because the love of money can not be limited to just one gender. (Or race, or nationality, etc.) By the way, I did not click on the link...know better...no thanks.

Um, same goes for men.
Anybody with a gob of money has to balance between ennui and popularity out of self preservation.
I checked the link, but I missed the part where they discussed those women's marital status. Oprah's is the only one I know, simply because there is just no escaping Oprah in the media.
Didn't she just dump her husband?
Where do you get this info from? Did you read this article and get the random thought that all those women were spinsters? Did you go and google them all to check their marital status? That would be pretty strange.
I have been on this bent lately about people randomly hating on others for no good reason. I'm gonna star this question as a perfect example. You rant is over... rich, powerful women? Now there is a pretty out there reason to hate on someone.
Now why are you so poor? You stupid? Lazy? Don't you realize that ignorance, poverty, and mediocrity are such terrible goals for these times? Go build a school or supply health care to children like I'm sure these women are doing. I know Oprah is. Do something constructive with yourself, then you won't have time to be so angry.

Maybe it's because they aren't looking for a man. Some people have different priorities in their lives and sometimes those priorities don't include a spouse and children. Isn't it better that they are free to pursue their careers and not be pushed into a lifestyle they are not interested in or suited for? Why can't people accept that marriage and children are not for everybody?

Logically, women who make it on lists like that have a good deal of other important things to do than attract men. Has it ever occurred to you that they might not even want one? What woman in her right mind would dumb herself down or hide her success just to get a date?
