So today, on all Tuesdays at school, Smoothie King has someone come to my school and sells smoothies for 2.50, which me and my friends usually get.
Okay so today, I had a 20, and I knew my friend wanted a smoothie and knew she also didn't have any money.
And i was thinking, i have a 20 and since this smoothie's only 2.50, I dont really want to spend just 2.50 and have a bunch left over.
So I bought one for my friend, then for another, and for another friend.
So I bought a total of 4 smoothies for $10.
Which I don't really care, it's my money, and I probably won't do anything else with it.
And I seem to end up telling my mom everything that happens at school, and she says to stop spending my money on that.
Could this be a problem that I have for WANTING to do something for my friends?

I used to have the same problem last year. I used to always have money with me and my friends asked me every day for money, I never said no, and I don't think one day went by without me giving money to someone. The point is save up your money and don't spend it on your friends, if they ask sure give them some, but don't make it a daily habit or else they'll leave you without money. Remember you might need that extra cash for something important or an emergency. I think your mom doesn't want you spending money like that because (if she is the one that gives you the money) she probably works hard for that money and she doesn't want to see go to waste like that. Spend your money carefully and if you want lend out a dolar or to but not to all your friends. Spend wisely =].

Just say it is your money, and even if your friends say thankyou, do it again for them, but if not, or they want smoothies all the time dont bother, but anyway, say that exactly to your mum, say that it is your money, and you want to be nice to your friends

No dont ever think that
its always nice to help out your friends and give them special treats,, but jsut dont do it everyday then they start to expect certain things from you and start to use you to get things...
but never stop being kind...it will make you happy

It doesn't hurt to treat your friends every once in awhile.
