And when I mean satanic, I mean sold their souls for money, profit, and intellectualism.

To clafiry further: the most important things to these people and people in general is intellectualism, money, self-interest, ego, and basically the self, and any time of morality, right/wrong, and even human compassion is not-relevant.

I have a hunch that's the name of the game in this world, and many people in general seem to be like this.

So, therefore, describing this as Satanic may be far fetched, but it's the only term I can come up with. I don't think godly or wonderful or inspiring came to mind, so I just chose satanic. te hee.

Every industry's main goal is profit, and we have people studying the human mind to know what we want, so they can market to us, the medical industry is corrupt as well, basically it all is right down to the core, down to the average joe trying to get by paycheck to paycheck being greedy, and to even lower, people trying to steal, lie cheat, etc.

Yes it is, and as I'm sure you already know, when good people try to fight against it they are knocked down immediately. Like trying to swim in shark infested waters. If you're not a shark, they are going to see you and eat you. The only way I think is to surround yourself with real people so you can feel sane.

You're right! Stock up and head for the hills! Watch out for those bears, they're godless, satanic man eaters!

Sorry sarcasm over. If money, profit (same as money), and intellectualism are satanic, I'd hate to see what you call true evil.

I think you need to get out and be with people, really be with them and see how they are in their day to day lives. Granted, it's not a rosy picture but it's not the evil one you painted either.

Intellectualism? Not in the US. You do know our leader, Bush? He's a moron. As for selling his soul for capitalism - that I might agree with.

I have to agree with you on self-interest too. It seems more and more people are lethargic about really trying to be compassionate to other people, animals, the environment - whatever. As a child of the 60s, it kind of breaks my heart!

Why do the stupid and uneducated demonize intellectualism? Is it because a thinking mind sees through religion?

I assure you, America is NOT run by intellectuals. Quite the opposite. Have you checked to see who's in the white house?

Welcome to modern day society. Human Beings don't seem to ever get it right. We forget who we "really" are... spiritual
beings. Until we learn to balance, Body, Mind and Soul, we will never be "complete". We continue to try to fill our "voids" by chasing after materialistic things, and yet, we still remain empty. We need to wake up.
