There are so many good movies for kids now but the problem is getting movies the kids haven't seen before.
One way to do that is to go back to the older movies that many families don't remember or know exist.
There's a site just for that at
http://www.bowtieproducts.com/Clean_%20Family_%20Movies.htm
or if the link doesn't work you can search for bowtie good clean movies, and you'll find it on the bowtie web site.
50 or more great old family movies listed that I'm sure some of them will work well for you.
There's also a link on the site to give you more info on each movie listed to help you know what you're getting.
Good Luck, and have fun

Labirynth and The Dark Crystal are both kids movies with Jim Henson puppets and a slightly dark element.
I also love the Miyazaki movies, its like the disney of japan
I like those old Fred Savage movies, like little monsters and flight of the navigator
D.A.R.Y.L. another old one
The never ending story

You might consider "The Adventures of Milo & Otis", a film about the adventures of a kitten and pup, with very silly narration by Dudley Moore, who also provides voices for the animals (voiceover). Adults and children usually giggle over it because the animals' antics are so funny. Even "dangerous" moments are done with a light touch, as when the kitten teases a small bear after him.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki. Most kids love Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns - these are all wonderful films. My girlfriend's four year old watched them each about two dozen times when I lent them to him. They're also the kind of films you as an adult can enjoy as well.
Here's the trailer for Howl's Moving Castle
