Its a kenmore 70 series. I was alos wonndering of anyone knew how the washer knows how much water is in it. thankss

rotate the fill setting a few times, try diffrent settings, may be a air leak in the tube, or just been setting on one setting to long,

There is a small tube running from the bottom of the tube to the water level switch, which is probably defective. It builds pressure as the water level increases and trips the switch.

sounds like there is a cramp in you hose..check that first oan then if its not that call sears they still carry them
