if i was you i wouldn't put any lotion on your nipples, it Will only make them more dry. ever noticed putting lotion on your arms or where ever, made them a little more dry....yeah so no more lotion. you should get Lansinoh lotion. its what you'll use when you are 1st starting to breast feed. like most women who breast feed, our nipples get WAY sore, dry, crack and bleed. i used this and it worked SOOOO good!!! just be very careful when using it, you should get some breast pads as well b/c this stuff is greasy. Check out the website. i think you can also buy it at Target instead of ordering on line.

good luck.

I was told by my doctors, nurses and WIC that you should NEVER use any kind of soap on your nipples..pregnant or not...that it messes with their natural lubrication. Since you are not breastfeeding yet you can put cream on it and some of the people above are correct they make special cream for nipples. When you do start to breast feed it is very important that you do not just put any old thing on them...the nurses gave me some weird salve that was safe for the baby. Other people go through this too....enough so that there are special products for it. You're not alone.

THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION BUT THEY MAKE A CREAM FOR MOTHERS WHO BREAST FEED BECAUSE NIPPLES TEND TO GET DRY THEN YOU CAN TRY IT, I AM NOT SURE OF THE NAME BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN A LONG WHILE SINCE I USED IT BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND IT AT ANY DRUG STORE OR WALMART IN THE BABY ISLES.

Nipple sensitivity is normal in early pregnancy.

If theyre dry and cracked youre probably not getting enough water, or else your bra size has changed and theyre chaffing.

um. i just put eucerin calming cream on them... as i'm not breast feeding atm, because i'm still pregnant. but maybe you could try aquaphor. also, there's special creams made for breastfeeding mothers. try some of those... just put some on after a shower so your body soaks it in.

i have the same issue, have had the same issue. it's just your hormones. most of your skin is drier than usual, but your breasts are more sensitive.

congrats =)
