Is not limitless- you are limited by you physical, social, societal, and mental constraints
Is not Hedonism- you cannot chose freely if you always chose on the principle of what is easiest or most pleasurable.
Freedom does not extend into the freedom of others... ie, you have the freedom to do as you like within reason, if it does not harm or injure others or their freedoms
Is not guaranteed- sorry, but people do not always follow the above statement, sometimes you really have not choice so you are not free to chose between alternatives

Freedom is an illusion. We do not have the freedom to NOT pay the bus fares, the electric bills , or our taxes. Lol.
Are we free to say , oh no thanks, I'd rather go on vacation and spend my money there?
Of course not.
As citizens, we have limited freedoms, but for all intents and purposes, it is good enough. Besides, one can always leave and immigrate to another country.

Freedom is not giving the authority of your existence to others. You are the author of your thoughts and actions, and you must choose them. Do not blindly follow the thoughts and wishes and demands and commands of others; think them through as best you can or your authority as a human being, individual and able to pursue liberty, will not belong to you. Always keep it yours, always own it, always be responsible for it, and freedom then is not about others, it is about you.

This world is not freedom. This body this mind. Unless one understand and realizes transcendental wisdom. For example -
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. But we are not free in identifying with this body. We suffer so much do to the bodily conception of life.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality and freedom. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. That is actual freedom. Being in this world but not of it. But to identify with the mind, body and world is not freedom at all.
For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line.

Freedom is not doing whatever you want; it means being responsible for your own actions (not a lawbreaker, not an illegal alien, not a terrorist) or pretty much living IAW the Bible.
