I've got several Witches Brew recipies, but none have a story that I'm aware of. And the one I use all the time doesn't use grapes.
"Witches' Brew 1 (This is the one I use all the time)
2 cup apple cider
1 1/2 to 2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Process cider, icream, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg in food processor or blender until smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Serve immediately.
Serving Suggestion: Add a few drops of desired food colloring to ingredients in food processor to make a scary brew."
"Witches' Brew Punch
For Ice Ring
6 pacakges (.09 oz each) chewy fruit flavored snacks
2 plastic gloves (make sure their clean before using)
cold water
For Punch
2 cup boiling water
1 box (4 serving size) orange flavored gelatin
1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice, chilled
1 quart apple cider, chilled
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 bottle (33.8 oz) ginger ale, chilled
1. Place 3 packages of fruit snacks into each plastic glove. Pour cold water over fruit snacks, filling to within 1 inch of top; tie end of each glove. Freeze until solid, 4 to 5 hours.
2. In a 3 quart pitcher or bowl, pour boiling water over gelatin; stir until gelatin is disolved. Stir in pinepapple juice, apple cider, and lemon juice.
3. Just before serving, peel off gloves; place hands in punch bowl, fruit snack side up.
4. Pour punch into punch bowl over hands. Gently stir in ginger ale."
"Witches' Brew 2
1 cup cider
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
nutmeg
Mix with crushed ice in an electric blender until foamy. Pour into small glasses and top with nutmeg."

2 tb Ground cinnamon
2 c Hot water
2 cn (6 ozs) orange juice-concentrate, thawed

Dang - I'm not a pagan or wiccan. However, we used to have a recipe for witches brew you might find useful: Everyone at the party puts a generous amount of whatever booze they brought into a large pitcher or urn (we used to use a an old camp coffee pot). Then, everyone at the party has to take at least one sip of the brew. Some of those brews were the most horrific, disgusting concoctions imaginable - so much so that people sometimes had to take a second taste just to verify how awful it was. Some of them were actually pretty good though. I remember one where there were a lot of people with Southern Comfort and some kind of Schnapps, and it was actually not too bad.

Butterbeer! It warms you up AND tastes great. Now in take-away form from The Three Broomsticks. (Many thanks to Melissa for this recipe!)
Ingredients:
1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
½ tablespoon butter
Directions:
Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.
Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.
Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!
I have tried it and it is loverly.

The story is from Macbeth. Here's it is.
ACT IV
SCENE I: lines 4 – 21 (The Witches’ Brew)
Round about the cauldron go;
In the poison'd entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights has thirty-one
Swelter'd venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i' the charmed pot.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and owlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
from Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
