I have been having problems with my pc it crashed while doing a windows update and now I cant access windows, I have been trying to reformat but it just turns itself off after a minute or so.
any ideas?

both fans work well and i changed my powerbar.

i say wipe the hard drive first then reformat or if you ahve the possibility of pulling your old windows back with a recovery i would to that to

I agree with the other posters, it appears to be either an overheating problem, or a power supply issue.
Check your cooling fan, make sure it is seated correctly, and obviously turning. Have your power supply tested to make sure it is working.
You may be trying to reformat for naught

Most probably your CPU fan has seized and the PC is shutting down from over temp.

yes its probably overheating ...
