I ovulated on or around the 22 of September, I started with a sharp pain in my lower abdominal left side on September 26, 4 dpo. started spotting light pink and light brown mainly when wiping september 28, 6dpo, and have continued spotting even today, Oct 2. Yesterday had mild cramps, today at the gym had to decrease exercise to a medium speed due to discomfort on treadmill, also lots of flatulance, no real BM yesterday or today. Took an hpt in the evening today got a negative result, My menstrual is due to start on October 6, Saturday. First time pregnancy if pregnant. Always regular menstrual cycles, Can anyone relate to my problem?

Just wait and take it again. If you want to be 100% sure you could always go to the doctor, expensive - yes, but at least you won't have any doubts after that.

im in the same boat you are i have to wait till saturday to take a test. they say its best to wait i was really anxious and took a hpt on monday but it came back negative but i still have hope and you shouldent give up your hopes i know its hard to wait till your supposed to get your period but its the best thing if you want a postive test. Its best to just wait and take a pregnancy test. No sense getting your mind going until you know for sure.

Just wait until you're late to test.

I had a sharp pain in my side when I got pregnant, but it was before I was late. I doubt its a way to tell anything about anything, but so long as you're trying theres no reason you shouldnt be pregnant.

When you're late, test.

just wait and test again. u might be pregnant but ur hcg level isn't enough to show positive on a hpt.

I'd take a test. It is the only way you can be certain.
