Family, Friends, meals together, enjoying time together, the beautiful decorations on the houses and in Manhattan in New York. Radio City, some Christmas shows, the Bronx Zoo at night, Jones Beach lights at night. Too much to list. Everyone is generally in a more pleasant mood than usual.

Chanukkah.
Actually, Christmas is useful because it gives us a day off when we didn't get one for Chanukkah. Also, sales are great after Christmas and the lights on the houses are really cheerful around winter solstice.

i admire using by neighborhoods and gazing Christmas lights. i admire putting up the tree and adorning the abode. i admire getting including acquaintances and family members. i admire the actual reason for the season.

The fact that people seem to be a little kinder and friendlier than at any other time of the year. They say hello or Merry Christmas, even if they don't know you. That and family are, to me, the best.
