since I have an In ground transformer box on my property, Does anyone knows If a property owner can ask for some compensation when an electric company places an inground neighborhood transformer box in the owners property?

Most likely it's not your property. Residential lots typically have a 10 foot set back and the property actually belongs to the city to use for underground utilities and storm water systems. Occasionally in some situation the city will use this right-of-way to widen streets.

If you recieved a copy of the land survey when you purchased the house, it will show where the easments are located. There is usually something along the lines of a 10 ft easment at the front and back of your lot. In some situations, there can even be an easment down one side of the lot, or down both sides. But again, any survey that's been made of the property should show where the easments are located and how far they extend into the lot.

Probably not. I am certain they have rights or an easement.

You should move your question to the real estate section, they will know for sure!!!
