It's not "god" - since there is no such thing...
It's the "fundies*" who are JEALOUS - they are so brainwashed by their religious views, that they see EVERYTHING that is not "THEIR way" as wrong ;);););)

In the days of the ancient Greeks people tended to think of gods as a race of very powerful humans. These gods were in competition for the affections & worship of humans.
Consequently, 'your' god might be jealous if you cheated on them by worshiping another god.
In the modern age, few people belive a race of gods compete for the affections of humans. But many belive the universe may have been the handywork of one very powerful, very primal God Almighty.
Now God Almighty would NOT be very human nor would He require, or be in competition for, your affections.
So....
If a being like God Almighty exists, it's quite unlikely He would be jealous.

it says over and over in the bible that he is a jelous God. He gets jeous of those who worship other gods.

"God is a jealous God" means that He doesn't want people doing things like worshipping statues. Basically, don't treat other things as divine and focus your life around them.
But I don't know what that has to do with GLBT.

What The F*ck are you smoking? God created you. He created all of us. Why in his name would he ever be JEALOUS (mind your spelling) of a tiny, insignificant thing like you?

I have wondered the same thing...
for instance.. we shall have no other gods before him, eh?
there ARE other gods to have before him?? hmm... good thing to know.
and why are we supposed to be "god fearing??" if god is love, should we really be be "a feared" of that? why??
sometimes this god of yours just sounds toooooooo freakin' scary for me.
