I don't know if this applies to girls too, but- I'm a girl and I LOVE the idea of people mistaking me for a boy. I love wearing guy jeans and shirts that don't show my chest and I pretty much only own sports bras. I've been wondering this for a long time now and I just assumed I am. And if I'm not, I have no clue what my problem is then. Oh yeah, I love being athletic! :D Although that probably has little to do with it. Haha.

By the way...I don't LIKE LIKE girls. I think it's kinda cute to flirt around with them, but I'm not into dating. I'm straight on that,

It's strange - this is one area where there IS a double standard...

If you are a GUY dressing up like a girl, there is NO doubt that you ARE a crossdresser ("Transvestite" to use the correct term). The only incorrect assumption is that you are ALSO gay - which may or may not be true...

For a GIRL - it gets much more confusing (as the other answers CLEARLY show). Some see you as JUST a tomboy, others a "butch" lesbian, and others still a Transvestite.

The "butch" one is ONLY true if you are INDEED a lesbian - which is NOT the case here. The other two (tomboy/transvestite) are BASICALLY the same thing - though tomboys do not ALWAYS dress up as boys (but they don't dress "girly" either).

Based on what you have said, I would say that you are a TOMBOY. You state that you wear sports bras - and I feel that THIS is the major difference. A Transvestite would likely find some other way of concealing her breasts - such as binding them with tension bandages (as Hillary Swank did in the movie "Boys Don't Cry")

As long as you are happy with the way things are going - then the EXACT term is the least of your worries ;););););)

Edit: this is NOT to be confused with being TRANSGENDERED (or a TRANSEXUAL) - this is where you live your ENTIRE life as the opposite gender. You would have to do EVERYTHING as a GUY - and this goes FAR beyond just the clothes ;)

Cross dressing can apply to both sexes... IE Drag Queens, and Drag Kings...

I wouldn't classify you as a crossdresser at all. I mean how many women wear mens boxer shorts to bed cz they're more comfortable? And that seems, to me, to be the reason you dress in mens clothes, are they not more comfortable to you? Especially the sports bra... Much more comfortable fomr most than the frilly lacy underwire bras, right?

As for loving it when someone mistakes you for a guy... Some people would be offended, some people would find it funny... That doesn't determing your crossdressing status.

Hmmm. I would probably 'tag' you as a tomboy - not really interested in portraying your feminininity. As a crossdresser you'd probably want to add fake facial or body hair to make you appear more boyish - most 14yr old boys have some facial 'fluff', same as most 14yr old girls have breast development.

Don't worry about it though - you are who you are, and you will discover more about yourself as you get older.

Since you l;like being a tomboy consider having an a operation to change your vagina to a penis then you will have the best of both worlds.

You best define yourself. Don't allow others to do this for you.
I pray that you only like to be taken seriously (as women are often not). It doesn't sound like it goes any further then clothing and I hope it never does.
Good luck dear, and God bless you.
p.s. nothing wrong with sports.

No, you aren't a cross dresser, unless you dress like a guy on purpose.

eh sounds like you either have a thing for messin with people or a deffinate crossdresser. it also depends on if you just want to fool people into thinking your a guy or if you actually want people to see you as a guy.
