I think the answer may depend on what one likes. The notes of African nations are very nice with the animals on them as well as note from some of the Pacific nations and islands. I don't think one country has a lock on it. Some of the best notes from a lot of countries were produced in the 1800's through the 1920's.Most are however out of our price range. there seems to be more color in modern day notes but more art in older notes. Most of the bank note engravers that I consider artists did there thing in the late 1800's. I like the 1969-1975 $2 with the Eskimo hunt on it. As an American who has English ancestry, I also like notes from England and Scotland. It is just a matter of persoinal tates that is why numismatics is such a great hobby, you get to do it your way.

Well, I am American but I think Canadian money is so pretty. I agree with everybody else. I love all of the colors and the art work of animals and nature. I wish American currency was more colorful and had artwork of our country's natural beauty too.

I personally like Canadian currency - I may be a bit biased because I am Canadian! Our currency is so colourful, and has pictures of animals. Just my opinion, as a Canadian and an animal lover.

I think the British pound notes are fantastic, not following the trend of the euro like the rest of Europe. Its what makes us Brits...Birtish! lol! Along with rain, the royal family and tea! lol!
