I usually just carry some chapstick, and hand lotion. I wear makeup ocassionally, but I never carry a compact with me, unless it is for a long trip.

Must have in my make-up bag, which curiously does not include a compact, would include mascara and a good pair of tweezers for my sprouting chin hair.

Do you mean compact as in makeup? Or as in an agreement?
If the former, I don't have one. Most makeup is silly and annoying and I won't wear it. If guys don't have to, neither do I. If they can face the world without artifice, so can I.
