The dopplers that you can rent that are the ones that are medically advanced...not the ones you buy at the store.

They can pick up a heartbeat from around six weeks. Many factors can change the answer of this though. Don't panic if you can't pick it up this early, in some women the uterus lies to the back and it can't be picked up as easy early on.
Try having a full bladder and using a water based lubricant, like KY jelly, it will help.

It depends on the doppler. I am renting one from online that says you can hear as early as 10 weeks (they had one that was more expensive that can hear as early as 8 weeks). Well I heard the heartbeat the first night I tried at 10 weeks, and listen everyday. I'm 14 weeks along now and it has given me great comfort.

Like the ones you buy at the store for $30-40? No, those are intended for the third trimester. Your baby's heart beat isn't strong enough at 9-10 weeks to be heard by those types. If you use it you will hear sounds like your stomach growling and you may even pick up on your own pulse and think it's your babies heart beat.

So, being pregnant is measured via the 1st day of your final era. to that end, we've those 2 weeks the place we're not fairly pregnant however the implantation/fertilization is occurring in those 2 weeks, so technically this is roofed in being pregnant. So, while you're gestationally at 6 weeks, the fetal progression is extremely at 4 weeks.

I believe it depends on how good the doppler you get is.. Research it online if your thinking about a specific one.

the babys heart works at 7 days but i dont think its big enough to hear because its so small.just wait it out until ur doctor does it first or ask him/her when u can do it yourself.

nope probably not usually you have to be closer to 14 weeks to hear. I am 14 weeks and monday will be the first time I hear the heartbeat at the OB office, I did hear it on the U/S at 11 weeks.
