We all want different things...never satisfied with what we got, but we should actually take a step back and look to see what good we have done in our past... even if it was through a rough time we had. or what not.... we made it through and we are here... wether your name is jim, joe, julie or shaquanda, it doesnt matter... in one way or another you made a change in someones life path, and they inturn made that same change in someone elses... we are here for a reason... wether we know the reason or not.

if anyone feels down... you should try reading a book called

"the five people you meet in heaven" by mitch album

great book... its not about religion or any of that... give it a try.

Well I believe this is the life that God has laid out for me, and I am on a close path. However I am not quite sure that I am living up to my full potential in my life as of this point. I mean I want more. I seek more, and I am learning how to get more, so I can be where I am meant to be, but in answer to your question, I think everyone is on the path the were suppose to be on at this very moment. We are all in pursuit of a certain destination and who knows how long it will take to get there, and then once you get there, then what??? Does everything stop. I mean there has got to be more right.

Definately not. I'm in law school right now and I should have went to the French Culinary Institute in NYC. I want to own a bakery or restaurant, instead I'm learning about torts, not TARTS!

Your question requires God. "Meant" requires intelligent thought and purpose. Purpose requires God:

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

It is only if one accepts that God might exist that we can talk about what is meant to be. Without God, life is purposeless, meaningless and pointless. Without God all we can do is to keep busy until we can die.

But I think God put our need for meaning into our human nature to point us to seek Him.

I believe I am because I love everything that I am surrounded by, dealing with, people I talk to, etc. So I believe it was meant for me.
