It really depends on the other guy. My ex didn't like hearing it (possibly because he didn't love me and....well that 'splains why he's my ex). I haven't said it to my current bf because I'm not sure that I love him or am in love with him. I don't want to lead him on.

In prior relationships I said it and sometimes it caused problems.
