I think, to me, it's addicting because I be wanting to be the first answer, but since place holding and squatting is considered a community guideline I've stopped that.
I like to show the asker and other answerers that my answer can be the dumbest, stooopidest (is that a word?), smartest, flippest, smart-azz, dumb@zz on the list.
I like to show that I can think outside the box
I like to answer with my logic. Sometimes it confuses even me.

I didn't used to like it, I was all serious and trying to help people, but now I love it here. Yeah, I'm addicted.
