Both should be fired. Marty ball wasn't always exciting but at least they won games. Norv Turner couldn't coach his way out of a wet brown paper bag.

Norv Turner is the obvious choice. Last year everyone complained about Marty ball, now this year those same people are begging for its return. Marty is the best motivator out there and teaches the run better than anyone, but a brilliant tactition... no. Not to say that Norv Turner is by any means, in fact he is a locker room push over with no stress on discipline. A great teacher, just not a great head football coach. On the other hand you have AJ who didn't promote Wade Phillips but who did trade the all but certain bust in eli manning for the promising Phillip Rivers and the sack machine Shawn Merriman. Not to mention finding Marcus Mcniel, and jumping on Eric Weddle in the second round this year. You have to weigh the bad with the goods, and AJ is far from being on the hot seat... Norv, might be allowed to finish the season.

I'd definitely choose to fire Turner. AJ Smith is one of the best, if not the very best, GM in the league right now as far as drafting is concerned.
Smith has only missed once with a first round pick (Sammy Davis was the lone miss, and he went late in the round). AJ SMITH IS THE MAN WHO TRADED ELI MANNING FOR PHILIP RIVERS, SHAWNE MERRIMAN, AND NATE KAEDING. If that's not drafting excellence, I don't know what is. Smith is also responsible for acquiring Antonio Gates when other NFL teams had never heard of Gates, and he's made other great draft picks such as Shaun Phillips, Marcus McNeill, and Luis Castillo, all of whom are elite players.
If not for Smith, there wouldn't be any expectations for the Chargers to be winning. They'd probably be 0-4 and no one would be too surprised about it if Smith wasn't the GM. You'd have to be crazy to fire Smith.
Keep in mind that both coordinators also left because they got head coaching jobs, so you can't pin all the struggles on Turner or Smith.

Neither one of them, it is up to the players to go out and perform and do what they get paid to do. Phillip Rivers should not be playing he throws away every game they had a chance at winning. That defense does a lot of talking and rarely produces. Blame the players not the coaches, management can only pay them, not play for them.
