Whoever told you that is wrong. You have the rest of your high school years to date and find a boyfriend, and if you don't, you'll have college, and if you still haven't found somebody, you'll have the rest of your life. Just be someone who is willing to date and be dated, and also someone who is willing to love and be loved. Do that, and you'll do just fine, no matter how long it may take.

It is most definately not a problem. Not to mention you are in the ninth grade? So you're either a freshman or in middle school right? You don't need a boyfriend, you're too young and too gullible right now. You are not a freak for not dating, it's immaturity when someone dates someone for two weeks. You take it slow like I am..you'll be much happier and much more successful. I'm a senior in high school and I'm seventeen and while I've been asked out every damn day I always say no. I have never had a boyfriend or dated and I don't want to. Trust me..boys your age are very immature..even more so than the girls your age. You wouldn't want to end up making some stupid mistake, focus on what's important. Not on that. Tell that kid who told you that to shut up because that person has about as much experience as you.

I'm 18 and I've never had a girlfriend, nor have I ever kissed a girl. Although if I had dated in high school, I knew I would have been disappointed and hurt. Too many teenagers these days pursue relationships purely for the convenience. However, I'm looking for a partner to spend the rest of my life with; and I doubt that I ever would have found that around the immature high school girls.
Don't sweat it. You don't have to do something just because "everybody else" is doing it. In the long run you'll be happier and better off. :)

It's not a problem to have never had a boyfriend! And there is no such thing as "learning how to date". It is silly to go out with someone for 2 weeks. You sound mature and dating will happen when you want it to.

You are totally fine! dont let stupid ppl make you feel like you have to date someone just because. you wont know how to date?? wow that is so stupid of someone to say. i myself didnt date until i was 17, but honestly i could have done w/out most or all of the ppl i went out with...i honestly wish i had only dated/courted my husband. dating isn't worth it in most ways in the end. if it is someone you know for sure you wont probably stay with, what is the point? and at 15, you are so young and have plenty of time to worry about those things! school is much more important right now.

Naw you're fine, I'm 16 and have never dated anybody, and I'm not the only person I know like that! Of course I'm looking to change that in the next 2-3 weeks but hey! Just don't worry about it :)

It's perfectly fine and normal not to have dated at 15. When the time is right for you, you will. In my opinion kids your age don't need to be put in situations where sex and bad decisions can ruin your life. You should be having fun with friends and school activities. Save dating for when you're older.

It's not silly dear. Youre too young! Dont rush into things like that, if you're going out with a guy you dont like just for the sake of having a boyfriend, it's not good. Wait for the time that you'll meet a guy who's gonna make you fall in love and who's deeply in love you. ^_^

No, that's not weird at all. Some people don't even want to date in hgih school because of all the drama. No worries. There's nothing wrong with not dating at this age.
And I totally agree. It is so stupid to date someone for 2 weeks. I would have to REALLY REALLY like someone to even consider dateing them. Some people these days take nothing seriously anymore!
But yeah, don't worry. When you decide to date, trust me... you'll know how. :)
