i wash my clothes with tide and snuggle in warm water.
it comes out smelling kinda musty and gross.
i hang dry it right after its done and crack a window.
am i using a bad brand of detergent/ fabric softener or should i dry my clothes in the dryer immediately after?
help!

also could it be because im not using enough detergent? i use about half a cup. i dont use a whole cup because the smell comes out so strong and i can still see the soap left over on the clothes.

I suggest drying them in the dryer, it dries them quickly unlike hanging them around. Also you could try a cup of white vinegar in the final rinse.=)

I always use a cup of ammonia in with my laundry detergent and then I add a cup of vinegar in with my rinse cylce. Try using a couple of dryer softner sheets instead of the liquid.

Try about a cup of vinegar & warm or hot water to a load & let them machine soak. It may have the smell in your washer & needs to be freshened up.

Bleach may work also but I'd use more than a cup.

Try putting less in your machine so theres more water to rinse through your clothes it works for me
