Who says that in fact we are falling forwards into a future and not actually about to fall to yesterday? We wouldn't know if we were rewinding would we. Could it be that instead of H2 combusting to form water, it could infact be separating from a water molecule into H2 and O? But becuase everything is reversing, even our minds cannot tell that we remember what happened a few seconds ago (a few seconds ahead that is), because the brain cell has just been 'un-produced'?

lol, Does anyone understand what I'm saying here?

We only have our perceptions to help us figure this out.

Last question: No, not completely.
First question: we don't. Time is a human invention. The Bible says that, to God, "...a thousand years is as a day.." so maybe time does not flow, but simply is, just like a rock: just forever present. There are a number of other quotes in the Bible to suggest this.
Our clocks are all based upon the earth's movements; so, maybe, that is ALL they record, the earth's movement.
As to water, H2 and O, both ARE, in fact, occurring simultaneously...otherwise, things would get out of balance.

The wrinkles on your face mean you are going forward getting older..... as does the stiff back!
Haven't quite got to the dementia stage yet, so can't say I have any problem remembering what happened a few seconds ago. You must be in a bad way if you're that far gone!

In reality there is no such thing as time, space or change. Both belong to the realm of duality. Time cannot exist without space. i.e, a thing must be somewhere for a certain amount of time or it could not exist at all. It can´t be nowhere for a given amount of time just as a space can´t contain no thing for any amount of time. Time and space and everythign that occurs therein (change) are concepts which we all ´buy into´ because it doesn´t strain our brains too much. To try and change the paradigm for yourself try reading some Zen koans.

essentially there is no time, no future and no past, just the present moment, by moment, by moment.
Because of calendars and clocks and the binding of Us through time we Project our minds forward thinking, when infact the future never comes , only to the constant present moment and the past only exists as a memory of that moment.!
linear time is calculated horizontally so the mind can move its perspective back and forth on itself to capture an understanding of Itself. No time is calculated vertically into the Absolute moment and the Dying of Self, that is the symbol of Christ on the Cross in vertical stance.

I understand what you are saying, we could actually be going backwards? So, if this IS the case then our 'memories' would be visions of the future. Interesting theory, like BC years counting DOWN whereas we now count years UP.

However, if it were the other way around I would hate to be going in the direction of a reverse birth. I'm sure our mothers wouldn't like the idea either!

There is an inherent flaw in your question. If the direction we are going is "backward," then we must have once gone forward. And if the direction we are going is "forward", then it matters not if you are correct, it will still happen and we will be none the wiser. But because it is a theory like "Is there a God?", which no one can prove, it is a useless question. Sorry.

but everything happens in a progressive forward direction. We grow up not down, our intelligence (generally) increases not decreases. We call this forward in time because it makes sense that way but in reality time doesn't exist, it is something invented by man to keep track of everything

Wait until everything starts sagging, your body stops being able to do the things it used to and your family are taking you shopping for a headstone and then ask yourself whether you're going forwards or backwards in time. To be honest by that stage you won't remember the question.....or much else!

If we are going backwards in time and our minds are also reversing then lets just call that going forwards in time to simplify things.

omg that sorta makes sense. like when we die its because all of our brain cells(well the right ones anyway) are being un-produced! and the end of the world could b the very begining and we would not no because we have forgotten!
