Im looking to consolidate; I've heard it has its pros and cons, but I really feel like I need to at this point. I heard about this company on the radio, but dont know anything about it. My husband is in construction, but has been working off and on for the past 3 months and it has set us back on all of our bills. Since the rainy season is coming I dont see our situation getting any better.

If you have so many bills that the only otion is this or bankruptcy, either will achieve the same on your credit record.

Credit counseling, as they call it, looks just as bad as bankruptcy and stays on your credit records for 7 years as well.

It may be helpful, but if the debt isn't huge, you would do better working directly with the companies themselves. They WILL work with you. That versus never getting paid or writing off with a bankruptcy is their option. What do you think they will choose?
