The Dave Clark Five was one of my fav groups. Funny that I don't have any of their albums. Sometimes I got them mixed up with the Beatles... so whip me! My favorite song was/is:

"Do You Love Me Now That I Can Dance" I think this song was written by Disco Daddy! LOL

They were always thought of as not quite the Beatles no matter how popular some of their songs were on the radio. They were always kind of an also ran because the Beatles dominated music and every bit of teen society in the mid sixties from hair to clothes.

I still have "Glad All Over", the 1964 first USA album release. The album notes say "... this is the record that knocked the Beatles from their Number One spot on the charts!" Guess it didn't work out quite so well for them after that, LOL. Still like the song tho.

I've seen the change in the Bible Belt. The Bible is not the reason behind fitting in. Gainesville, Georgia is nic-named "little Mexico".

LOL!!! I remember them. No, I was not a big fan of them. I prefer The Animals and Spencer Davis.
