I don't know the benefit of doing so but I would imagine that the first thing would be the connector for the sensor; its probably different between the two types of sensors so if you're getting a replacement out of the scrapyard be sure to get the connector and a spliceable piece of the hanress as well. I don't know if the wiring is the same (12v; ref, ground) between the two types or if one sensor has more or fewer wires. If the number of wires is different then you probably need a harness or a good wiring diagram for both types to figure out what missing or what's extra,.

the second thing would be the mounting for the sensor. I don't know if the hole that the sensor fits through on the throttle body or MAS housing is the same for both styles. You may have to change the throttle body or the MAS housing as well.

lastly the type of signal input to the electronic control unit will be of different values so you will probably have driveability issues such as hesitation on acceleration. Unless you can find a direct exchange for the same model car that uses MAS that you can get an ecu from I don't think you could have the parameters a work-around by reprogramming the chip.

Too many "ifs" for me to recommend it unless its the only option available

why would you want to convert it? Most people are going the opposite way since the restriction of the MAF limits hp. I just rid of my maf and changed to speed density.
